UBER.com has slipped quietly away. Its passing has been marked only by the blank spaces left behind on websites where embedded UBER content used to be.

We live in interesting times.

An angel investor has apparently saved Uber.com for another month. The website's homepage says;

"Update: A chance to save UBER!

In the past week we've had a flood of great feed back and support from all of you. Thank you again. That activity brought us several opportunities from several companies that could keep the doors open here and one of these companies, sharenow.com, has graciously bought us some more time to figure out if there is a fit. We hope that you will not only stick with us through this next month, but even post every day! The more activity we get, the better chance we have to keep this going.
